January Update ~ A New Year, South Sudan + New Believer’s
Greetings from Uganda!
We hope this newsletter finds you all diggin’ into 2016 and following God wherever he is leading you. We headed into the year full speed ahead and January has been a great month! Sid rang in the new year with our friend and fellow YWAMer Andrew, in South Sudan. They traveled to 3 different YWAM bases to pray over the staff, pray over the land and encourage the staff in Labone, Juba & Wau, South Sudan. They were also able to do some open air preaching and share the gospel with people along the way. The kids and I rang in the new year in Arua and we were treated to a firework show practically in our backyard. We had a fun night of fun and games!

We have had 3 outreach teams here this month from Chico, CA, Mendocino, CA & Harpenden, UK. It has been a busy month and the teams have done loads of outreach and many people have come to Christ in Northern Uganda and South Sudan. We really enjoy seeing the outreach teams minister and use all that they have learned in their Discipleship Training School.(DTS)

Lacey has settled in stateside and has found a job. She plans to return to college in June with the goal of getting her degree in Photo Journalism. We are proud of her and excited for her future.

Sydnie is at the end of her outreach in Nepal and heads back to Muizenburg, South Africa for debriefing and graduation. We can’t wait to hear about her adventures and how God has transformed her heart.

We have just booked our tickets home for furlough and are happy to share that we will be stateside from April to Mid-July! We have been working on a schedule to share about our ministry here in Northern Uganda & South Sudan and share about all God is doing here. If you’d like us to share with your church, small group or just a group of friends in your home please email us at wah3@hotmail.com. We would LOVE to share! We will arrive in Charlotte, NC the first of April and make our way to Texas via North Carolina & Tennessee and then make our way through Texas stopping to share along the way. We will have our feet in Midland the last week in April. We hope to hug each of your necks and share about our first 18 months in the mission field and we look forward to seeing all of you.
